Too many women have shared the same experiences: feeling talked down to at repairshops, getting hit with overpriced services, or freezing up during unexpected car trouble because no one ever taught us what to do.
We’re here to make car care feel less intimidating and a lot more empowering.

Meet the Founder
Maybelline Torres is the Founder & CEO of Her Auto Care, a women-centered brand created from her own real-life experiences navigating the automotive world. Even as a Mechanical Engineering student, Maybelline often found herself feeling confused, dismissed, or taken advantage of when dealing with car issues, an experience she quickly learned was shared by countless other women.
Instead of accepting that as “just how things are,” Maybelline felt called to change it.
With a long history of service and community and a heart for empowering women, she set out to create something that didn’t exist: a supportive, judgment-free space where women could finally understand their vehicles, ask the questions they’ve always been afraid to ask, and feel truly confident with their car.
At the core of her mission is one simple belief:
